ST V1 Open Source Raymarine Lifetag MOB Remote Activation

One of the remote control commands that can be assigned to a remote control button , or activated using the web is Man Over Board . This sends a signal to activate the MOB alert at the current position on Raymarine devices that support this.

I’ve tested on C70 as per the video down below but will work with other Seatalk 1 interface able chart plotters and may work with newer devices using the ST NG interface (as works with other autopilot functions.

This feature will allow someone with a remote to raise an alarm if they fall over board , the remotes are very small and the system supports as many remotes as you need .

The MOB can be cancelled via the remote as well.
