How To Clone Using The 4-Button Remote

This guide explains how to programme the Nauti-Control 4-button clonable remote by copying button signals from an existing compatible fixed-code remote.

The remote has four buttons, normally marked A, B, C and D. Each button can be cloned from a button on your existing working remote.

Important: This remote must be cloned from an existing compatible fixed-code remote. It is not supplied pre-programmed and will not clone rolling-code remotes.

Before You Start

  • Make sure your existing remote is working correctly.
  • Keep both remotes close together during cloning.
  • Clone one button at a time.
  • If the remote does not pick up the signal straight away, move the remotes slightly closer, further apart, or change their angle/location.

Step 1: Put The New Remote Into Learning Mode

On the new remote, press and hold buttons A and B together.

Keep holding both buttons until the light at the top of the remote starts flashing.

Once the light starts flashing, release both buttons. The remote is now ready to learn button signals.

Step 2: Choose The Button You Want To Programme

Press and hold the button on the new remote that you want to programme. This can be button A, B, C or D.

For example, if you want to programme button A on the new remote, press and hold button A.

Step 3: Copy The Button From Your Existing Remote

While holding the button on the new remote, press the button on your existing remote that you want to copy.

The light on the new remote should flash once to show that it is ready to copy the signal.

Once the new remote detects the signal from the existing remote, the light will start flashing continuously. This confirms that the button has been cloned.

Step 4: Repeat For The Other Buttons

Repeat the same process for each button you want to clone.

  • Hold the button on the new remote that you want to programme.
  • Press the matching button on your existing remote.
  • Wait for the new remote to confirm the signal has been copied.
  • Move on to the next button.

Example Button Setup

You can copy the buttons in any order you prefer. For example:

New Remote ButtonCopied From Existing Remote
AButton 1
BButton 2
CButton 3
DButton 4

The exact function of each button depends on how your existing remote and Nauti-Control controller are configured.
